Gothic Revival Roman Catholic church built 1886 as a memorial to Francis Sumner (d1884). Altar and reredos in Caen stone. Carved doors, choir stalls, Pelican mosaic and stained glass. Shrine of St Clement and 'Paupers Door'.

A624, turn into St Mary's Road, then Sumner Street. Rail: Glossop (½ mile). Bus: all Glossop bus routes stop on the High Street near St Mary's Road.
