St Mary De Haura, Church Street, Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex BN43 5DQ View on map

Founded by the Normans c1103 and built on a grand scale for a parish church with a four bay choir and six bay nave, transepts and a central tower. Nave was ruined in the 17th century and pulled down in the 18th century.


Opening Arrangements

Open daily: Monday to Saturday, 8.45am to 6.00pm. Sunday open from 7.30am to 7.00pm.


Access from Church Street, St Mary's Road and East Street in the town centre. Rail: Shoreham by Sea (¼ mile). Bus: routes 2, 2A, 2B, 19, 20 and 59.
