This early 12th Century round tower church is rich in it's architectural historical and cultural complexities. The project was a finalist in the 2012 English Heritage Angel Awards and received a Certificate of Commendation in 2013..


Opening Arrangements

Every Friday 10am - 4pm. Open churches week August 1 - 7 inclusive 10am - 4pm. Conducted tours, walking groups by prior arrangement. Further details on website and YouTube.


Exit Acle on the B1140, past the high school, then you will see signpost to Fishley. Acle Station, which is on the Norwich to Gt Yarmouth line. 1.9 miles by road. 1.2 miles by footpath across the fields via Pyebush Lane. Very good bus service to Acle, Norwich to Gt Yarmouth. Service No's X1 and A47.

Walking groups tend to use Acle recreation car park, then walk across footpath to Fishley.
