The historic parish church, situated in the marketplace. A fine chancel, with its original timber roof, and vestry alongside date back to the early 14th century. The nave and tower date from the early 19th century.

All year: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9.0am - 3.30pm. At other times for tours and group visits by prior arrangement.

Direct access from Newbridge Lane and Churchgate. 5 minutes from the M60 orbital ring road. Rail: Stockport station, 10 minutes walk (1 mile). Bus: free bus, running every 10 minutes, circular route from station.
