St Mary, Jackson Walk

St Mary, Jackson Walk, Askham Richard, York YO23 3PT View on map

11th century with a Norman archway door and Saxon door in the Vestry. A Roman sarcophagus can be found outside opposite the church entrance. The church of Our Lady was given to the Nunnery of Monkton in the 12th century. Major restoration was completed in 1870's.
