Set within historic Lydiard Park, the church is notable for its monuments, fittings and wall paintings. Nave and north aisle 13th century. Chancel, tower and south aisle with porch 15th century. 15th century south chancel chapel much rebuilt in 17th century, along with the St John family chapel.
All year: Saturday and Sunday afternoons. 7 April - 11 November also on Fridays 11am - 5pm. For all other times a key can be obtained from the adjacent Lydiard House / cafe - identification required.
Located behind Lydiard House in Lydiard Country Park, best reached from eastern entrance (Hay Lane) signposted also for the Conference Centre. M4 J16 towards Swindon, off B4354. Rail: Swindon (4 miles). Bus: Thamesdown Transport, routes 1 and 1a (Fleming Way, Swindon town centre - Wilmot Close bus stop).
Parking is not specifically designated for church use. There are a number of fee paying car parks around Lydiard Park.
