St Mary Magdalene, Bailgate, Lincoln LN1 3AR View on map

Dates to 1317 and fragments of the medieval building still remain. Twice renovated by the Victorians, the Bodley restoration of 1882 survives virtually intact. Today St Mary's has an all age family Sunday worship and daily prayers sustaining a ministry of Christian witness, welcome and outreach.

Monday - Friday 10.30am -11.30am, third Saturday of the month (farmers market) 10am - 4pm.

Directions

Situated in the Cathedral Quarter of uphill Lincoln and is on the pedestrian route between the Cathedral and the Castle where Exchequergate and Bailgate meet. All roads into Lincoln have signposts to the Cathedral Quarter where the church is situated. Rail: Lincoln Central (1 mile). Bus: A walk and ride shuttle bus operates between the city centre ( including a stop at the railway station) and the Cathedral Quarter regularly throughout the day.
