St Mary, Marden

St Mary, Marden, Herefordshire HR1 3EN View on map

Grade I listed building dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. The nave was rebuilt in 1858. The tower and church contain many interesting and original features. The holy well of St Ethelbert is located at the west end of the church.

Open daily; 9:30am - 4:30pm.


A49 north of Hereford, follow signs to Marden through Moreton on Lugg. The church is signposted at the boundary of Marden Village. Rail: Hereford (6 miles). Bus: 426 bus from Hereford, 8 buses a day to and from the village.
