St Mary, Newent, Gloucestershire GL18 1AB
Visible from miles around, especially when highlighted at night, the church has an 88 foot high spire sitting on a 65 foot tower. Significant historical artefacts are on display, both in and around this grade I listed building and the tower houses 8 bells regularly rung. The organ built by local resident, Thos. Warne in about 1737 is still played today.
