St Mary the Virgin, Church Road, Mendlesham, Stowmarket, Suffolk IP14 5SG View on map

Grade I listed medieval parish church built of flint with stone dressings, restored 1864-6. Fine 15th century four stage tower with diagonal buttresses. Notable gargoyles below embattled parapet. Fine font cover and pulpit both of 1630 by John Turner of Mendlesham. Unique Armoury (open by appointment only).
