Large flint cruciform church, listed Grade I for its architectural, historical and topographical value, having continuous interesting development from 13th to 19th century. Early 13th century font, 14th century glass and 16th and 17th century brasses.

All year: daily 9am - 4pm.


On B1383 to Saffron Walden, in centre of Newport village. Rail: Newport - Essex, (½ mile). Bus: No 301 (Saffron Waldon - Bishops Stortford).
