St Mary the Virgin, Middleton-on-the-Hill, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 4BE View on map

Grade I listed 12th century church in the Norman style. It is surrounded by farm land and serves the hamlet of Middleton. The tower dates from the 13th century and contains three bells. There is a lantern memorial in the graveyard to commemorate the status of being a 'Thankful Village'.

Middleton-on-the-Hill is a village in north-east Herefordshire, 6 miles outside of Leominster, off the A49 travelling north towards Ludlow. Rail: Leominster Station. Bus: once a week on Fridays from Leominster.
