St Mary the Virgin, Trinity Square, Axminster, Devon EX13 5AN View on map

Large parish church of Norman origin with later additions and restorations. Interior contains Jacobean carved panels re worked into chair stalls and octagonal pulpit of 1633. Monuments c1800 by Gibbs of Axminster and Crane of London.

Daily: 9am-5pm (9am-dusk in winter months)


On A358 West Street. Rail: Axminster (approximately ½ mile). Bus: route 380 from Axminster bus station, route 31 (Taunton - Lyme Regis) stops in Trinity Square.
