St Mary's is a medium-sized flint-walled church, situated in a beautiful country setting in the small village of Pyrton, Oxfordshire. Parts of the church date back to the 12th century but underwent significant rebuilding in the 1850s. The churchyard is a living sanctuary for wildlife, especially the glorious display of wild daffodils in March.

Opening Arrangements

The church is open during daylight hours 365 days a year.


St. Mary's is located in the centre of Pyrton, two miles south of Junction 6 of M40 off the B4009. Railway stations: Princes Risborough or High Wycombe, about 15 miles away. No bus service.
