12th century crypt beneath the chancel, including parts of the old east wall of the Medieval church. 15th century chancel with a set of 18 finely carved misericords or choir stalls. 15th century font and a Victorian nave with plaster ceiling and stained glass windows by Burlison and Grylls, Clayton and Bell and others. There is also a 12 bell tower.


Opening Arrangements

Friday mornings 9:15am-11:30am; Tuesday mornings 10:30am-1pm. Blue Coat Festival opening in February; Community Day on 1st July; Heritage Open Days in September. Also Saturday mornings wherever possible.


Turn off main Wolverhampton to Wendesfield road at Tudor Road into Bushbury Road, Church is on corner. Rail: Wolverhampton (1½ miles). Bus: Route 59 from bus station to Church Street is approximately 5 minutes walk from church.
