Mainly fourteenth century stonework. Nave with north and south aisles. North chancel chapel is the earliest part of the church, it houses the tomb of Sir Edmund de Appleby and his wife. alterations in the 1800's, box pews, stone font and pulpit. Attractive stained glass and spire recently repaired.


Opening Arrangements

Usually open daily 10am to 4pm (or until dusk in winter). Always open on Saturdays


Village lies 1 mile east of M42/A42 junction, take road for Measham, Appleby is signposted first right. Rail: Atherstone 10 miles, Tamworth 12 miles and Nuneaton 14 miles. Bus: Number 7 Fenny Drayton to Measham (via Atherstone Train Station and Appleby Magna) day time, 2 hourly, Mondays- Saturdays.
