The tower displays its Saxon origin and is one of the oldest in Northumberland. Much of the present building reflects 18th and 19th century remodelling, with an 11th century Saxon arch connecting the nave and tower.


Opening Arrangements

Daily from 10.30am-4.30pm from the beginning of May until the end of September. Outside of these times access can be arranged by contacting Rev Thompson or Gill Robson.


Road: Turn off the A69, 2 miles west of Hexham at junction signposted Warden (B6319). Continue to Boatside Pub, turn right at side of pub, church 1/2 mile further on right. Rail: Hexham (3miles) Bus: 863/804 Go North East Service Hexham to Warden Bridge End with 1/2 mile walk to church
