Grade I listed church in origin two churches, the first designed by George Frederick Bodley and built in 1861-2, the second designed in 1868 by William Burges but not built until 1892-c.1900, after his death. In the church history of Brighton, the architectural quality of both buildings and the range and quality of the stained glass, make this a building of outstanding importance.


Opening Arrangements

Saturdays 10am - 4 pm. Before and after mass (see website). Outside these hours by appointment


Victoria Road is off B2122 Montpelier Road. Rail: Brighton (¼ mile). Bus: Frequent bus services stop in Western Road and Seven Dials - within 5 minutes walk. Note: from Western Road the walk is uphill. Bus 21A from Eastern Road (2nd Stop) and walk is then on the flat (service every 1/2 hour) Brighton main railway station is a 15 minutes walk away (up hill to the church) or take a bus to Seven Dials.
