Small 13th century ironstone church, comprising nave, chancel, narrow south aisle and west tower with double bellcote. 'Impressive and important' according to Pevsner, its main interest lies in the south arcade with the original painted motifs. Stained glass in east window by Heaton, Butler and Bayne.
