St Michael and All Angels, Brooksby, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire LE14 2LJ View on map

Grade II* listed church in the grounds of Brooksby Hall. Tower begun early 14th century and completed in 15th century. Body of church early 16th century. Restored and spire rebuilt 1874 by R W Johnson. Fine 19th century hammerbeam roof with half bays either end. Monument in chancel to Sir William and Dame Ann Villiers. Battle of Jutland memorial.


Opening Arrangements

Saturday and Sunday throughout the year. At other times a key may be obtained Monday - Friday 9:30am - 4pm from the reception of Brooksby Hall adjacent to the church.


Follow signs for Brooksby on A607 between Leicester and Melton Mowbray. Rail: Melton Mowbray (5 miles) Leicester (11miles). Bus: Service no. 5A between Leicester and Melton Mowbray.
