St Michael, Flordon, Norwich, Norfolk NR15 1RP View on map

Grade II listed small flint and stone parish church with nave dating from 11th or 12th century. 14th century south and east traceried windows with fragments of medieval stained glass. The 15th century porch has a fine moulded entrance and diagonal buttresses. Unusual surviving rood stair and Jacobean pulpit with blind arcading and carved decoration.

Directions

Flordon village is 8 miles south of Norwich, 2 miles west of the A140. Park next to phone box and walk up an avenue of trees to the church. Rail: Norwich (8 miles).
