The original Byker Parish church 1862-3 by W L Moffat, now set in the centre of an urban estate and re-generated in the 1960's and 70's. A handsome building with stunning views over the city and set in a recently created churchyard garden.


Opening Arrangements

Open from May to September on Saturdays- 10am-4pm and Tuesdays 12pm-3pm (excluding Tuesday 2nd August). Also open Monday 6th June to Saturday 18th June 9am-6pm and Monday 1st August to Friday 5th August 9am-3pm. Open every Sunday from Sunday 19th June to the end of the year 11am-1pm.


From A186 take B1314 towards Byker, turn left into Welbeck Road and right into Headlam Street. Rail: Byker Metro station (10 minutes walk). Bus: Routes 39 and 40 from Newcastle city centre (5 minutes walk).
