The original Byker Parish church 1862-3 by W L Moffat, now set in the centre of an urban estate and re-generated in the 1960's and 70's. A handsome building with stunning views over the city and set in a recently created churchyard garden.


Opening Arrangements

Weekly: Tuesday 8am - 10am and Wednesday 10am - 12pm. The church is also open on the following dates: Friday 24th May and Saturday 25th May 10am - 5pm; Monday 30th July - Friday 3rd August 10am - 5pm; Friday 31st August and Saturday 1st September 10am - 5pm; Sunday 2nd September 12pm - 5pm; Friday 9th November and Saturday 10th November 10am - 5pm; Sunday 11th November 12pm - 5pm; Friday 21st December and Saturday 22nd December 10am - 5pm and Sunday 23rd December 12pm - 5pm.


From A186 take B1314 towards Byker, turn left into Welbeck Road and right into Headlam Street. Rail: Byker Metro station (10 minutes walk). Bus: Routes 39 and 40 from Newcastle city centre (5 minutes walk).
