The original Byker Parish church 1862-3 by W L Moffat, now set in the centre of an urban estate and re-generated in the 1960's and 70's. A handsome building with stunning views over the city and set in a recently created churchyard garden.


Opening Arrangements

Weekly: Tuesday 9am - 11am and Wednesday 10am - 12pm, except on the following dates: 3rd January , 4th January, 11th April, 12th April, 18th April and 19th April. The church is also open everday 31st July - 4th August 12pm - 4pm.


From A186 take B1314 towards Byker, turn left into Welbeck Road and right into Headlam Street. Rail: Byker Metro station (10 minutes walk). Bus: Routes 39 and 40 from Newcastle city centre (5 minutes walk).
