St Michael the Archangel, Church Street

St Michael the Archangel, Church Street, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire HD8 9RW

Grade I listed church dating from early 14th century when stone from a demolished Norman church was reused to build a church in perpendicular fashion. A stout 15th century tower affords views over the nearby hillside. In the 17th century small chapels and a gallery were added.
