A town church built in a country setting, 1851 by Dickson and Breakspear in Early English style of locally quarried stone. A small elaborately detailed church retaining many fittings including west choir stalls and structural pulpit.


Opening Arrangements

Last Saturday of the month 10am - 12 noon. Sunday 8.30am - 9.30am; 10.30am - 1130am. 24 - 31 March 9am - 5pm (Holy Week Exhibition)


Signposted from Manchester Road (northbound), Great Lever by the A666. Turn left where A575 becomes B6536. Rail: Moses Gate ( ½ - 1 mile). Bus: Nos 8, 37, 524 and 556 from Farnworth (stop at Greyhound pub).
