St Mildred, Nurstead Lane, Nurstead, Kent DA13 9AD View on map

The church in it's present form, with walls of oblong flints and the nearby Nurstead Court are the only surviving parts of the manor as it existed in 1349. The large east window is of particular interest showing St. Mildred with her stag, St. George, Christ, St Anselm and St. Alban.


Opening Arrangements

Open Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am to 4.00pm between 1st Mary to 30th October. No entry to tower.


Leave A2 at junction with A227 signposted Wrotham. In two miles at cross roads turn left into Nurstead Church Lane. Meopham Station - Approx. half a mile Arriva Buses Routes 306, 308, hourly service from Gravesend or Sevenoaks along A227
