Grade I listed flint and rubble church dating from 12th century, situated close by the original Wantsum Channel and one of Thanet’s 7 ancient churches. The 73ft tower is a landmark and navigational aid. Remodelled in 14th and 15th centuries and restored in 1876 by Ewan Christian.

Everyday of the year during daylight hours, except in an emergency


½ mile north west of the junction of A28 and A299. Rail: Birchington (4 mile), Minster (4½ miles) and Canterbury (10 miles). Bus: Stagecoach No 8/8A from Canterbury (hourly).
