The largest parish church in England (Pevsner), St Nicholas church sits within the walled medieval town of Great Yarmouth. Church originally founded by Bishop Herbert de Losinga in 1101, in association with a Benedictine priory. Tower extended upwards in C13, and the nave rebuilt in the early C13.
