Consecrated in 1868, St Nicholas Church is one of the oldest buildings in Whiston, and a focus for the community. Features include stained glass window by Morris, re-created AD 1300 screen separating the chapel.


Opening Arrangements

Weekly - Sundays 9am-10pm, 11-30am-noon,6pm-6.30pm,7.30pm to 8pm, Tuesdays 6.45pm-7.45 pm. School term time only Mondays 1.30pm-3.30pm and Tuesdays 9.30am-11.30am


Church is located at the top of the hill on the left hand side as you exit junction off the M62/M57. Follow the signs to Whiston. Rail: Whiston (0.7 miles). Bus: No 61 bus take 45 minutes from Liverpool and 10 minutes from Prescot.
