Consecrated in 1868, St Nicholas Church is one of the oldest buildings in Whiston, and a focus for the community. Features include stained glass window by Morris, re-created AD 1300 screen separating the chapel.
All year: Sundays 9am - 10am and 11.30am - 12noon; 6pm - 6,30pm and 7.30pm - 8pm. During school term time: Mondays 1.30pm - 3pm; Tuesdays 9.30am - 11am and 6.45pm - 7.45pm; Saturday 9am - 10am.
Church is located at the top of the hill on the left hand side as you exit junction off the M62-M57. Follow the signs to Whiston. Rail: Whiston (0.7 miles). Bus: No 61 bus take 45 minutes from Liverpool and 10 minutes from Prescot.
On Windy Arbor Road outside church - no parking restrictions.
