St Oswald, Church Lane

St Oswald, Church Lane, Backford, Cheshire CH2 4BE View on map

13th century, with original chancel. Nave rebuilt 1878 by architect Ewan Christian; tower constructed c1500 with six bells. Clock installed 1887. Nave has 17th century memorial boards and mural decorations by Edward Frampton. Chancel has Millennium window and John Douglas reredos.
