Medieval parish church with Chancel, Nave, N and S Aisles, Tower and Porch. Small part of Anglo-Saxon clerestory visible. Main parts of structure date from 12th to 15th centuries. Churchyard with monuments and war memorial. Perpendicular font with carvings of some sacraments. Most furnishings date around 1875, and the stained glass windows are mostly early 20th century.

Open Saturdays from 10am until 4pm, except when in use for weddings or special services.

Directions

By the Rose and Crown pub in the centre of the village, turn into Butchers Hill (cul de sac) and the church is 100 yards on the left. Rail: Higham 3 miles, Gravesend 4 miles, Sole Street 5 miles. Bus: infrequent services; NuVenture 416 and 414 from Gravesend to Cliffe or Meopham. Arriva 136 Gravesend to Chatham stops half a mile from the church. No Sunday service.
