Early 15th century parish church in knapped flint with painted hammerbeam roof. Simple nave and chancel. Square tower with spirette. Some medieval wall paintings (restored) and stained glass including a portrait of Sir William be Berdewell (d.1434).

In the centre of Bardwell village on high ground. Rail: Bury St Edmunds (8 miles). Bus: Nos 304, 337 and 338 Monday to Saturday from Bury St Edmunds.
