St Peter and St Paul, Exton, Oakham, Rutland LE15 8AX View on map

Dating from 13th century but greatly restored in the mid 19th century. Set in Exton Park, the seat of the Earls of Gainsborough (Noel family). Contains monuments from 16th-18th century, replicas of funerary and armorial banners of the Noel family and stained glass windows.

A606 Oakham to Stamford. Follow signs to Exton, signposted to church. Rail: Oakham (5 miles). Bus: route RF1 (Corby to Oakham) and RF2 (Oakham to Exton and Melton Mowbray), 2 hourly, no service on Sundays.
