St Peter, Church Hill, Kinver, Staffordshire DY7 6HX View on map

Grade I listed early 14th century church on a hill overlooking village, incorporating some 12th century fragments from an earlier church. 15th century Hampton and Grey chapels, the Hampton built by John Hampton in memory of his wife who died in 1444. 3 decker pulpit dated 1625. North aisle rebuilt in 1975 and the glass screen between Chancel and Grey chapel added in 2004, the work of local architect John Greaves Smith.


Opening Arrangements

Fridays 9am - 11am (cleaning) and most Saturdays 10am - 12pm.


A449 towards Kidderminster, A458 to Bridgnorth, turn left towards Kinver. Follow this road through village where St Peters is signposted. Rail: Stourbridge Junction (4 miles). Bus: Service 227 and 228 from Stourbridge.
