Old English church 1847-49 by Sir Gilbert Scott. Rock faced masonry with steep slate roof. Stained glass window on north side of chancel, originally from congregational church in Cheadle but installed 1974 in memory of Peter Malcolm Riley. Small Millennium window designed as a simple cross on Star of David above chancel step. Three stained glass windows, of the period of the church installed 2013, in memory of former vicar and benefactor. A further seven stained glass windows installed in 2015 in memory of local people.


Opening Arrangements

First and last Tuesday of every month 10am - 4pm. Saturday 16th April, 4th June, 2nd July, 16th July, 23rd July, 3rd September, 12th November, 3rd December 10am - 4pm.


On A530 Middlewich to Nantwich Road, one mile north of Leighton Hospital. Rail: Crewe (3 miles), Sandbach (4 miles). Bus: No 42 (Crewe to Holmes Chapel).
