St Peter, Main Street, Tilton on the Hill, Leicestershire LE7 9LF View on map
The oldest part of this Grade I listed church dates back to the late twelfth-century. It is much loved for its light and airy interior, distinguished tombs belonging to the Digby family and cheeky gargoyles and corbel heads. It is set in the heart of the small Leicestershire village Tilton on the Hill, itself a conservation area.
