The oldest part of this Grade I listed church dates back to the late twelfth-century. It is much loved for its light and airy interior, distinguished tombs belonging to the Digby family and cheeky gargoyles and corbel heads. It is set in the heart of the small Leicestershire village Tilton on the Hill, itself a conservation area.
Open daily during daylight hours, winter closure 3.30pm, summer closure 6pm.
Sits in the centre of the village. Next to the public house on the Oakham Road. Rail: Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough and Leicester.
