Built in Saxon and Early English style of local sandstone in a beautiful rural setting. The roof is partly covered with stone slate and a shingle spire. Consists of chancel, nave of three bays, south porch and a low western tower with spire. Norman door on west end of tower. North and South aisles added mid 19th century. Stained glass in aisles designed by Pugin.
