Founded in Saxon times by Mercian Earl Leofric, husband to Lady Godiva. The oldest part of the building dates back to 1150 - 1250. Worfield is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

A454, Bridgnorth. Take Wolverhampton Road at the Wheel Inn and then follow signs to Worfield. After 1/2 mile turn right into Worfield, the church is at the end of Main Street. Rail: Telford or Wolverhampton. Bus: occasionally from Telford or Bridgnorth
