Small Grade II listed church, located in the rural village of Thornbury. Parts of the church date from Norman times. The church is built of local sandstone. There is a memorial in the north chapel believed to be Sir John & Lady Specott.

St Peters Church can be located on the main road leading from Thornbury to Shebbear. Rail: St Davids Station, Exeter (approx. 50 miles), Barnstaple Station (approx. 26 miles).
