Parish church designed by T Stanley in Gothic style for the Church Commissioners and built in 1842-3 using local buff coloured ashlar gritstone. Stained glass east window and crenellated tower. Access to the church is via the tower.


Opening Arrangements

Daily, 10am-4pm (or dusk during summer).


A50 from Hanley to Kidsgrove. Turn right after the railway bridge and then left after a second railway bridge. Mow Cop signposted left. At T junction turn right and continue uphill to Church. Rail: Stoke-on-Trent (10 miles), Kidsgrove (3 miles). Bus: No 77 Bakerbus (Congleton - Hanley) Monday-Friday.
