Grade II listed parish church built in 1872. Notable stained glass dedicated in memory of the Mellowdew family who financed the building of the church. Two windows by J B Capronnier of Brussels and one by Mayer & Co of Munich.

On A672 Ripponden Road, church is situated next to St George's nursing home. Rail: Manchester (13 miles). Bus: No 83 (Sholver - Manchester).
