Grade II listed building which opened in 1876. St Andrew and St George is the church with the spire. Recently refurbished, with a new slate roof.


Opening Arrangements

Weekly; Wednesdays 10.00am - 12.00pm (not August). Every Sunday before and after morning service- open from 10am, service at 11am-12pm, also open 12pm-1pm. If main door is closed use Lawson Street (Hall entrance). Also open on 4 Tuesday Lent Concerts 11.30am-2pm (free).


On A135 road into Stockton from A66 Junction, go north on A135, at third set of traffic lights, turn right, church is on the left. Rail: Thornaby approximately (0.5 miles) Bus: Arriva bus 7 (Yarm) every ten minutes from Stockton High Street.

Parking Spaces


On street parking in Lawson Street now restricted to 2 hours. Paid parking in several streets off Yarm Lane or at multi-storey by Castle shopping centre.
