Part of ruins of Cockersand Abbey, built early 13th century and used as a mausoleum for the Dalton family. Interior has vaulted arch with interesting carvings. Situated on the coast overlooking Morecambe Bay.

At any reasonable time to the ruins of the abbey. The interior of the Chapter House by prior arrangement (2 weeks notice required).

From A588 at Thurnham follow signs to Cockersands Caravan Park, approx. 3.5 miles. Nearest railway station Lancaster. Bus route A588 to Thurnham.
