Grade II* listed Catholic church built 1962-64. Architect Gerard Goalen. In situ/pre-cast concrete structure, completed in 1964. Features include stained glass by Patrick Reyntiens, stations of cross sculptures by Mynheer; Millennium Angelus Bell; 100ft needle spire/belfry. Basilica style layout. RIBA award 1996.

Opening Arrangements

Church grounds and main entrance (Narthex and Lady Chapel) 9am - 6pm 7 days a week all year round. Church Interior (Nave and Sanctuary) Monday 10am - 1pm, Friday 10am - 1pm. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm - 5pm by prior arrangement. It is recommended to telephone the parish priest in the first instance, to avoid any clash with Religious Services.

North side of A5211 (Thackeray's Lane) 0.21 miles from Junction of A60 (Nottingham - Mansfield Road) and A6154 (Nottingham Ring Road). Rail: Nottingham Midland (6 miles). Bus: routes 56 and 59 (city centre(parliament street) via Mansfield Road to first stop on Thackeray's Lane).
