Grade II listed Catholic church built 1962-64. Architect Gerard Goalen. In situ/pre-cast concrete structure, completed in 1964. Features include stained glass by Patrick Reyntiens, stations of cross sculptures by Mynheer; Millennium Angelus Bell; 100ft needle spire/belfry. Basilica style layout. RIBA award 1996.


Opening Arrangements

Church grounds and main entrance (Narthex and Lady Chapel) 9am - 6pm 7 days a week all year round. Church Interior (Nave and Sanctuary) Monday 10am - 1pm, Friday 10am - 1pm. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm - 5pm by prior arrangement, by telephone, with parish priest.


North side of A5211 (Thackeray's Lane) 0.21 miles from Junction of A60 (Nottingham - Mansfield Road) and A6154 (Nottingham Ring Road). Rail: Nottingham Midland (6 miles). Bus: routes 56 and 59 (city centre(parliament street) via Mansfield Road to first stop on Thackeray's Lane).
