Grade I listed parish church rebuilt in 1854-5 by S W Dawkes in Decorated style retaining Pugin influence. Victorian interior retains a number of very fine 17th-century furnishings. Memorial to Sir Edward Horsey d.1582 and Baron Marochetti memorial to Princess Elizabeth, daughter of Charles I who died at Carisbrooke Castle, given by Queen Victoria in 1856. Created as a minster in 2008 and is a centre for major church and civic events.

In central pedestrianised square of Newport. Bus: Regular bus services to Newport from anywhere on Isle of Wight. Bus station is 100 yards from the church.
