Cast iron water pump dated 1840 and crowned by a later lamp with ladder bars. Decorated with arms of St Andrew and St George. Surrounded by three Portland stone and one Gothic cast iron bollards with spur stones.
Day and night throughout the year.
Located at the south end of Queens Square. Rail: Underground to Holborn then a short walk (10 minutes) northwards along Southampton Row, turning right into Cosmo Place through to Queen Square. Bus: routes 59, 68, 91, 168 and 188. See also London Transport website: http://.tfl.gov.uk
