Six storey Tower Mill built 1809 with most of the machinery dating from 1862-3. Interior has a smutter, four mill stones, three flour dressers and a rare Wesmann roller mill. Following restoration the mill is now worked by four patent sails.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm. National Mills day in May. Please check in advance if travelling any distance. Some Saturdays, please phone.


Off A606 between Melton Mowbray and Oakham. Rail: Melton Mowbray (6 miles), Oakham (6 miles). Bus: Bus Service no 19 (Nottingham - Melton Mowbray).
