  • Stanway War Memorial, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. 1920, designed by Sir Philip Sidney Stott, with a bronze of St George sculpted by Alexander Fisher and lettering by Eric Gill (1882-1940). First listed at Grade II on 17 September 1987, upgraded to Grade II* to mark the centenary of the First World War. Listed entry number: 1438273.

  • Bisham War Memorial, Bisham, Berkshire. 1917, designed by Eric Gill (1882-1940). The memorial takes the form of a calvary, with a canopied figure of the crucified Christ, his feet supported on a small ledge. Listed at Grade II*.
