Anglo Saxon Cross, Stapleford, Nottinghamshire

This cross was made in the 11th century (c1050). It was restored and re-sited in 1760, restored in 1820, and again re-sited in 1928. It is said to be 'by far the most important pre-Conquest monument in Nottinghamshire.'
