Cathedral Church of All Saints, Wakefield, West Yorkshire

The church has parts that date back to c1150. It was much repaired in 1858-1874 by Sir George Gilbert Scott who restored all the exterior of the church to its late mediaeval appearance. In 1888 its status was raised from parish church to cathedral.
