Chichele College, Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire

These are the remains of Chichele College. It was founded in 1422 by Henry Chichele. He was Archbishop of Canterbury from 1414 to 1443. It was a chantry college for eight secular canons, four clerks and six choristers. The college was surrendered to Henry VIII in 1542. This site is now in the care of English Heritage (2010).
